A ORS on-site trial is usually conducted in five big phases:
Plan - At this phase, the Host is usually already familiar with the general function of ORS. In order to lead a successful trial, it is important to define a clear and realistic goal based on the trial site's available frequencies range, policy of using the frequencies, expected testing UEs, etc. To make such a plan, the Host should be aware of all the constraints in the location where the trial will be conducted.
Supply - According to the planning, RS will supply a corresponding ORS product with its accessories. For other necessary HWs and accessories, RS will assist the Host to obtain directly or indirectly through its supplier resources.
Prepare - To conduct the trial successfully, a detailed schedule is required (detailed to dates and hours), including and but not limited to: pre-test ORS in the lab, pre-test UE, pre-test electricity supplies in the site, RS engineers and Construction Engineers trip planning, etc.
Trial - If the planning and preparation is well defined, the trial should be simply following the schedule. It is important to taking pictures and screenshots of trial and results.
Summarize - The trial is considered completed when a trial report is properly made with dates and analysis, which will be the proof of leading future projects.
